Sunrise Labs’ annual Cookie Contest raises $1450 for CASA!
For years, the Annual Cookie Contests is one of the most popular social events at Sunrise Labs. On January 16th, volunteer cookie contestants lined up their baked goods with a brief description of the charity they wish to donate to. Throughout the day employees put their money where their mouth is, by voting with cash donations for their favorite cookie/charity. The cookie jar with the most cash at the end of the day wins all, and Sunrise generously matches what employees raise.
Congratulations go out to baker, Beth Soederberg with her pecan butter cookies and whiskey caramel fondue. Beth chose Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of New Hampshire as the recipient of the Sunrise Labs and employees’ generous $1450 donation. CASA recruits, trains, and supervises volunteers to serve as advocates for abused and neglected children in the New Hampshire court system.
