Sunrise is seeking a Project Financial Analyst with relevant experience to collaborate with our Project Managers and Internal Accounting team to support our mission of taking medical devices from concept to market. In this position, critical to our team, you will assist project managers with budget reporting, provide project management support, perform project financial analysis, and manage our project management systems.
At Sunrise you will:
- Manage the company’s project administration system, overseeing the onboarding of new projects and maintaining the various systems used for Project Finance and Labor tracking
- Ensure that budgets are loaded into ERP properly and tied to control totals
- Assist Program Managers in maintaining project budgets and tracking Estimates at Completion (EACs)
- Perform reviews on all actual and planned resources and report discrepancies to the program manager
- Support project staffing and maintain labor resource data
- Prepare monthly EACs to Accounting and analyze profitability and timeframe of all projects.
- Monitor the financial health of projects, developing project profitability model
- Help to maintain the accuracy of time and expense data
- Build advanced-level spreadsheets to analyze and present data
- Provide project financial reporting and analysis to project managers and executive management
- Help to ensure that project teams are informed of and follow the terms of the client agreement
- Maintain and be responsible for updating Sunrise’s billing rates structure
- Perform weekly revenue forecast, working with the accounting team to ensure revenue recognition rules are in compliance with GAAP and internal policy.
- Undertake varied project organizational tasks and project financial reports as specified by Program Managers, Senior Operations Managers, and CFO
- Take a proactive approach to improving internal procedures
We’ll look for:
- A Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or public administration and two (2) or more years of experience with project or program management support, cost accounting, financial analysis

- Experience maintaining and organizing data using spreadsheet software such as MS Excel and Google Sheets. Strong skills in spreadsheet formula development, Pivot Table generation, and report formatting
